I write stuff. A lot of it is about cars and motorcycles.

Back in the saddle!

I finally got my Bike back today. They even washed ‘er up for me. And, since they fixed the bent tail-light post, she looks as good as new. The problem with the oil leak went farther than the oil pump, however. They had to replace several hoses, clamps, and O-rings to stop the leaking.

But it was great to ride for an hour bringing the bike home. tomorrow, the truck stays parked!

  • Cool! Now get out there and just ride! Point it in a general direction of your choice, and go at least 50 miles. Then turn around and head back. Go further if you feel like it. It’s actually therapy for the mind, body, and soul.

  • glad to hear your bike is back on-line Dale! Have you taken it down baja way yet? I was stationed down in San Diego back in the early 70s, if only I had a bike with me then! Lots of great places to ride.

  • I know the feeling of not having your bike available, agonizing!
